About Catriana dot Net

Catriana dot Net was started oh so many years ago. Around high school time? So she's almost ten years old if I remember correctly. Anyway, due to server shut downs and what have you, I don't have an accurate account of what's gone on with this lovely website, but this should be the first layout I've ever used that wasn't my own since catriana(dot)net was registered. My layout skills have diminished, unfortunately.

Catriana was a character I made up back in eight grade. She was originally a Dragon Ball Z fan character, with red hair and grey eyes. The name Catriana was simply one I made up, although years down the road about 10 people told me about a series named Tigana that has (surprisignly enough) a red haired character named Catriana. It really isn't intentional, but eh, what ya gonna do. Let me tell you how random my thoughts were when I named her:

Cat - My favorite animal at the time. Don't believe me? Check out my Elemental Saga series.

Tri - I was thinking of a tricerotops. Seriously. It just randomply came into my head.

Ana - An ending name I was using for a lot of characters I was making up.

So, despite what folks think, I was just a kid with random thoughts. The end!

Anyway, eventually the character became me. My pen name became 'Catriana' and it's stuck. I used to go by 'Leona' at one point in time.

Catriana (dot) net is currently hosted by AWebHosting. Previously it was Omnis, then Pinchpenny, then Fuitadnet (which is now known as GreatValueHost and sucks cock). FuitadNet, despite its crappy customer service, had a good FileManager system going on. Now it just overall sucks, and it's really hard to find good webhosts out there.
